My family and I moved around constantly, forcing me to get real comfortable talking to anyone about anything.

I quickly learned how to make the most of the long-lasting connections I created.

Five states and two countries later, I decided to move on my own to Dayton, Ohio, two weeks after graduating high school in Las Vegas.

I was determined to make a home for myself and did anything to make that happen.

I studied the ins and outs of systematic, systemic, and individual instances of oppression and privilege.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, with a certificate in Diversity and Social Inequality.

I was ready to take on the world—and the patriarchy—and jumped at the opportunity to serve as my local county Intake Advocate/Victim’s Rights Coordinator.

My coworkers harassed me, the criminal justice system is broken (and fails countless survivors of violence), and the severity of each case challenged me to face my complex and traumatic childhood. 

It was a lot.

I quickly felt lost, defeated, and hopeless with the direction of my life. Here I was, in my dream job. Barely paying any of my bills, dealing with daily harassment, getting triggered by violent cases, and watching the system continue to keep the cycle going.

I cried, journaled, and called on others for help, guidance, and anything that could get me out of the hell I found myself in. I couldn't believe the dream I had for myself throughout my life was happening, and I was miserable.

I created a lavish plan for myself that included working as an advocate in some capacity for my entire life—what the fuck was I going to do now?!

I started reading everything I could get my hands on as I tried to make meaning of my now meaningless life.

Eventually, my county job got cut, shoutout to budget cuts, and I returned to the world of corporate sales.

I exceeded sales quotas, won sales awards, and threw myself into any company organization that promised social change, but it still wasn't enough. 

I missed helping people, really, genuinely helping people. I kept learning more and more about astrology and eventually started reading the birth charts of my coworkers.

I couldn't stop.

I was googling the astrology of my favorite celebrities and reading the charts of my friends and family. I even approached random strangers and read their charts on the spot, whether or not they even knew what was happening. 

It was a no-brainer. This is what I was meant to do.

The insane journey to get to this moment was full of twists, turns, and experiences that would help me and my clients discover ourselves.

After getting laid off from my corporate sales job three days before my birthday, I threw myself entirely into my astrology business.

The Universe and I were in complete sync—it was my time to shine.
